Disability Living Allowance Application
Includes a consultation via Zoom or Facetime (please allow 2-3 hours) when we will complete the form together, plus a support pack with recommended evidence to supply and details of the appeals process.
This includes a consultation via Zoom (please allow 2 hours) when we will discuss all aspects of the application process and your child’s needs. I will then send the completed Section A (Parent & child’s views, aspirations & interests) of the EHCP application to you for signing and forwarding on to your local authority. I will also provide a list of evidence to be sent with the application.
Advice & Support- Initial Consultation with Peta Slaney
Fee: £ 125
A initial session via Zoom. This is an in-depth consultation where we discuss your specific needs and the support you require. Please allow between 1 and 2 hours for this appointment.
We are also able to use diagnostic assessment tools to pinpoint areas of need your child may have*.
You can then choose to continue with the mentor service. It’s entirely up to you, and there is no pressure to continue after the initial consultation.
The Mentor Service with Peta Slaney
This service is tailored to your family’s specific requirements and needs. It is a weekly, fortnightly or monthly session via Zoom: followed by a support package with resources and strategies for you to implement between sessions. We will be able to help with all aspects of raising a child (or children) with additional needs; from sleep issues, applying for EHC plans, behavioral issues and support for you as a parent.
Sensory Processing Advice & Recommendations with Ruth Evans
This includes a consultation via Zoom and a list of recommendations for your child’s sensory needs. We will assess the areas in which your child is sensory seeking or sensory avoiding, and help you to formulate a sensory diet specifically for you child; or train you to provide sensory circuits for your child if that is more appropriate.
Education Advice & Support with Jaki Parsons
This consultation will cover all aspects of education such as: your rights as a parent, dealing with the Local Authority, re-registering your child from mainstream or special school education, Education Other Than At School and sitting exams as a private candidate.
*We are not medical doctors and is therefore not able to diagnose any additional need or disability; these tools are used to signpost areas of need and adjust the resources & strategies accordingly.
